ABBY: Presidential elections in the US Empire are a complete farce. The system is rigged. So why even give legitimacy to the process?
CLAUDIA: We run in the lineage and legacy of other Socialist parties that have run before us. Eugene Debs was a socialist who ran in the 1920s and got a million votes from prison. And we do not run to legitimize the sham and the lack of democracy of the electoral process in this country, we actually run to uplift the demands of working class people, which are not ever lifted or solved by the two party system.
